Xiangzhigou Valley
Xinagzhigou Valley
is so named from it's indigenous making paper, the paper is mostly
for making joss sticks, ghost money for whirshipping ancestors and
for the decration of windows. In the valley in the park, the Buyi
people still practise the old way of making paper. In the region of
Longjiao village, some 40 mills were built to preduce paper from
bamboo by the water's pushing power. The Buyi people's houses and
the surrounding natutral scenery there are beautiful too. |
