A Tunpu village, Benzhai village was built beside mountains and faced the river. The village has a long history of some 600 years. The fertile fields are facing the front of the village.

　　In March, when rape flowers are blooming, the golden fields , the green forests and the stone village will form a splendid picture. Benzhai has displayed perfectely the architecture style that combined the stone material of centeral Guizhou and the exquisite carving technique of Nanjing-the former capital city of the Ming dynasty kindom, meanwhile, the design of the intricate crossroad also shows military function. The small cross holes on the wall of houses are used for shooting and defending the enemy.

　　During the festival on the first lunar month, the villagers in traditional costume dance ground opera to enjoy themselves.
