Wudong village, which can be seen among the Leigongshan mountain enwinded with cloud and mist, is located in the valley of the northwest of Leigongshan mountain. The elevation of Wudong village is some 1300 meters above sea level.
　　There are 104 families living in Wudong village which consists of 9 surnames whose villagers belong to different clans such as Yang, Pan, Li, Long, Wang, Jiang, Hou, Zhao and Jin. Since they belong to different family clans,the people there are allowed to marry each other among the same clan.
　　Wudong village faces mountains in four directions. Three brooks runing through the village and the wooden houses on stilts form an unique picture putting the beatiful nature and local life in harmony.The local meal is also special featured by wild vegetables, carp grown in the rice paddies, wild chickens and frogs. If you take the chance to taste such meal cooked by the local farmers, you may have deep impression for the food which will make you a memorable journey.
