　　　Zhouxi Lusheng Festival-one of the largest festivals of Miao, this year it's held on Feb 17 to Feb 19.
　　　About 15km away from Kaili, there is a small town called Zhouxi, nearby Zhouxi, there are a few beautiful Miao villages in old wood architectures with beautiful rice fields.
　　　During the Spirng festival, from the 18 th day to 20th day of the first lunar month which means around February, the largest Miao Lusheng festival is held annually in the town of Zhouxi. Before this, the Miao in the regions among Kaili, Leishan, Majiang Danzhai already spent their Lusheng festivals, the Lusheng Festival of Zhouxi is the last one during the Spring festival in this area, so it's the largest and most important Lusheng festival in that area, and more than thousands or ten thousands of Miao people come to join the festival.

　The festival lasts 3 days, the old people dance Lusheng for the opening ceremony, then the young people will join to the dance. They dance Lusheng to welcome the new year and wish for good harvest of crops. During which, it's also a good chance for the young to like for their love partners. Girls are in gorgeous silver ornaments( silver horns, necklaces and bracelets, etc) and exquisite embroidered silk felting jackets and aprons, boys lead the dancing circles. Meanwhile one can see bull-fight which becomes the favorite of the old and children. The festival starts at around noon, and finish till sunset.
